How to Make Chicken Potato Heaven in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
So this divine Crock Pot Chicken Potato Heaven recipe came about by the suggestion of one of our dear readers, Tina, on our Crock Pot Cheesy Potatoes and Chicken recipe. She said that she thought bacon would be a good addition and would alter the milk and cheese ratio to make the sauce thicker. Michael suggested that we replace the salt with garlic salt, and bing, bang, boom you have this delicious recipe!
The flavor of the bacon cooks into the chicken and the potatoes. The sauce is wonderfully creamy, and it all comes together to make an amazing comfort food recipe that will fill your belly up and delight your taste buds all in one!
Another great things about this recipe is the leftovers. The leftovers taste just as amazing as the first day you made it. So, there are no worries that it has more servings than you need for one night. They will taste great even the next night!

I found this a few years ago, we love it! I make it as a soup/stew, with double chicken and extra potatoes. I make the crockpot cheese bread to go with it. Delicious!

I love this idea! I just might have to try making this into a soup myself. Thank you so much for the inspiration!

Taste was good but it didn’t thicken up. Next time I would add lessilk. Served it over rice.
