LEGO BrickHeadz sets retiring in 2025 Retiring LEGO Minecraft sets Minecraft shows no sign of stopping at the moment but LEGO Minecraft isn’t quite as immune to the passage of time. Many of its sets are retiring in 2024.
At the time of writing, this includes the brand-new 21253 The Animal Sanctuary and 21257 The Devourer Showdown . The latter is the only LEGO set currently based on Minecraft Legends.

Can I still buy LEGO sets after they retire? Occasionally, enough stock remains of a retired LEGO set that it will continue to be sold officially. However, this is rare. Otherwise, your best bet is to look to other retailers or the secondary market, where prices may be higher.
When do LEGO retirement dates change? There is no pattern to when retirement dates change, but they frequently do and changes can even revert soon after they were made. We’ll keep you updated on when every specific LEGO set is scheduled to retire and update the list appropriately.
