Poor Things costume designer Holly Waddington is in the press room speaking about the challenges of designing outfits for the Bella Baxter character.

"The biggest challenge was trying to tell the story of her development," she says.

"I had a big huge folder and I was, it was like a jigsaw puzzle because she had to move so rapidly through stages and I had to tell that story through clothes."

She says her favourite costume is the "weird lobster tail" Bella wears in the garden and the blue jackets and yellow bottoms.

Was Donald Trump watching the Oscars?

By Velvet Winter

Because his social posts sure make it seem like it!

Jimmy Kimmel even read some of the former US presidents posts in real time during the ceremony.

"Has there EVER been a WORSE HOST than Jimmy Kimmel at The Oscars. His opening was that of a less than average person trying too hard to be something which he is not, and never can be," Kimmel read aloud from his phone.

Not missing a beat, Kimmel thanked Trump for his viewership before asking, "Isn't it past your jailtime?" and oh oh oh, how the crowd laughed.

She's won her category at the SAG awards, Golden Globes, Critic's Choice Award, BAFTAs, Independent Spirit Award and now at the Academy Awards.

Her emotional and humorous acceptance speeches have become much-loved moments.

"For every actor out there still waiting in the wings for their chance, let me tell me your life can change in a day," she said in her acceptance speech at the Screen Actor's Guild Awards.

"It is not a question of if, but when. Keep going."

The winners are now giving press interviews so we'll bring you the best bits, starting with Billie Eilish.

When asked for her advice to young people dreaming of a career in music, Eilish said: "Don't do it for other people. Don't do it for numbers or … I don't know, some sort of specific fame.

"I want everyone to be doing something they feel passionate about and they feel proud of.

"I would say you've got time.

"Do what you love. I know that's easier said than done as some of us don't know what we love, but you'll figure it out. You'll find it."
