Daly has served as the host of The Voice since its inaugural season in 2011. He became the sole host in 2o13 following Christina Milian’s departure. That same year, he added another hosting gig to his résumé when he joined the Today show as a co-host. He’s been balancing the two shows and splitting his time between Los Angeles, where The Voice is filmed, and New York, where Today is based, ever since. Daly is also a producer on The Voice and has scored four Emmy Awards for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program.

Who is Carson Daly’s wife? Carson Daly is married to food blogger Siri Pinter, the daughter of All My Children and The Young and the Restless alum Mark Pinter. The couple met in 2005 on the set of Daly’s NBC late night show Last Call with Carson Daly, which ran from 2002 to 2009. Pinter served as a writers’ assistant and Daly has said that it was love at first sight for him. “When she walked in I looked around at everyone else like, ‘Do they see what I see? This girl is like unbelievably attractive, how come their heads aren’t falling off their bodies like mine feels like it’s about to,'” he recalled while appearing on Today With Hoda and Jenna in 2019.
The couple dated for eight years before getting engaged in 2013 and tying the knot on Dec. 23, 2015. They went on to welcomed four children together: son Jackson and daughters Etta, London and Goldie.
As a food blogger, Pinter frequently appears alongside her husband on Today to share her favorite snacks, sips and desserts with viewers. She’s also a published author and released her cookbook, Siriously Delicious: 100 Nutritious (and Not So Nutritious) Simple Recipes for the Real Home Cook, in 2018.
While speaking to People in April 2024, The Voice host attributed what he calls “sleep divorcing” as the key to their successful marriage. He revealed that he and Pinter sleep in separate beds several nights a week and “both secretly love it.”
“It’s been good for us,” he explained “We don’t do it all the time, but a couple of days during the week — especially if I want to watch an Islanders hockey game kind of later at night — I go into the guest room, she retires upstairs to read her book or watch a show.”
Daly said they got the idea to “sleep divorce” when Pinter was pregnant with their fourth child in 2019. “We’re both pretty good-sized humans and it just wasn’t really working when she was in her third trimester, and I also have sleep apnea, which is very sexy for the ladies out there, I’m sure,” he told the outlet. “She couldn’t get comfortable, so we were like a commercial you would see, kicking each other and just not sleeping.” He continued: “We woke up and we just shook hands like, ‘I love you, but it’s time to sleep divorce. It’ll be the best thing for all of us.'” He added that the practice was especially helpful when the family relocated to California so that Daly could host The Voice, making his wake up time for theToday show 3 a.m.
While the unusual method may work for Daly and Pinter, some celebrities have weighed in with their thoughts. Saved by The Bell alum Mario Lopez posted the People article on his Instagram Story and wrote: “Nah, this ain’t for me.” The fellow television personality, who has been married to his wife Courtney since 2012, added: “I get way too frisky in the middle of the night.”
