Donate Proceeds to Easter Seals MA
11th Annual U.S. Masters Tae Kwon Do Open & Fall Championship Support Disability Services Across the State
On Saturday, November 19th, 2016, Easter Seals Massachusetts was pleased to accept a donation check in the sum of $2,000 from Master Alex Jeong and his father, Grandmaster J.H Jeong, 8th degree black belt, five-time Korean National Champion and owner of the U.S. Tae Kwon Do Centers in Shrewsbury and Worcester. All proceeds from the ad sales in the program book for the 11th Annual U.S. Masters Tae Kwon Do Open & Massachusetts State Fall Championship were donated to Easter Seals MA.
“We were proud to be able support Easter Seals MA through the sales of our program advertising,” said Grandmaster Jeong. “We know how important it is to give back to the community and Paul and his team do so many wonderful things for people with disabilities in Massachusetts.”
Paul Medeiros, President & CEO of Easter Seals MA, and 2nd degree Tae Kwon Do black belt added, “It was truly wonderful to see two of my worlds come together in such a positive way. In Taekwondo we have five codes of conduct: respect, humility, perseverance, self-control, and honesty which I am proud to say connect closely Easter Seals MA mission to help ensure that children and adults with disabilities are able to live life to the fullest and have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play.
