Chili Powder is by definition just pure ground chilies. They can be of any variety but typically, most store-bought chili powder is relatively lower on the heat levels (less than cayenne and jalapeno but more than bell pepper). Our brand of Chili Powder we call Red Chili Peppers Ground, and they are delish!
Chili Seasoning
Chili Seasoning is most often a mix of 5-8 different seasonings including but not limited to ground chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic, oregano, salt and sugar. A similar blend to taco seasoning however the flavor emphasis is on the chili powder.
