OUR MISSION

Change Fast Food. Change The Culture.

Sure, it's a bold statement. But Fast Food is B-A-D. And it's too accesible within our communities, so we're fighting fast food with good food and challenging the norms of society to bring about positive cultural change.

At FISHBOWL, we want to deliver nature's food with MIN intervention and MAX care, plus do it in a fun and authentic way. Nothing fake gets in.

Our beautiful product is only the beginning, our design-driven spaces, vibe making music, bold personalities and cultural diversity are all essential ingredients in bringing to life our healthy and delicious dream.

MADE FROM SCRATCH

Everything at fishbowl is made from scratch, every day, by us. Our team of chefs carefully break down and prepare nature’s food with minimal intervention and maximum love. The same goes for our dressings, we use a carefully selected range of local and japanese ingredients to produce a delicate range of dressings free from any artificial flavour enhancers, refined sugars or anything funky added! You could say it’s our secret sauce!

TRACEABILITY & TRANSPARENCY

Always open and available. If you’ve got nothing to hide there’s no need hiding.
Good food often has a great story and we pride ourselves on being open about where and how we source our food as well as how we prepare it. It’s why all of our stores have open kitchens, and all of our mixers are front and centre - we love to celebrate the theatre of food!

SUSTAINABILITY

Our planet is capable of producing some amazing things but in order for it to stay that way, we need to ensure that we play our part. Sustainability informs every component of what we do, be it food, design or waste management. We can all contribute to a more sustainable ecosystem around food and fishbowl wants to be at the forefront of this conversation and change for good.

The big 3: Sustainability, transparency and food provenance.

From the beginning our ethos has been good food that you can eat everyday. Everything we put in our bowls, and in turn our bodies, has to be fresh, delicious, healthy and ethically sourced.

To this day our ethos still stands. Dressings are made from scratch, menus are centred around veggies and other planet-friendly ingredients, and every store has an open kitchen - Why? Because we got nothin' to hide.

It's why we've created a run club and a surf team, and give back to the community with our charitable initiatives and bowls. Our run clubs are a collaboration with community leaders and a great opportunity to meet, eat and run with some new crew in your area.
