Maple VVorld Records

Requirement: Lv. 33 and above

• It's time to show the world who's the best at everything!
  
• This event lets you show off just where you stand in the ladder when it comes to a number of activities.
  
• Set records from the most damage done, to the longest time sat in a chair.
  
• The quest can be started through the star quest notifier on the left side of the screen.
  
• After that you will unlock the UI that allows you to see the record book. Here you can see who's currently holding the records in different categories.
  
• Although the record descriptions can be vague, that's where the fun comes in! Decipher the record and if you're the first one to meet its criteria, you'll receive a notification.
  
• You can then submit it to the Maple World Record Book for the world to see.
  
• The stats are cumulative, so if you're using your basic attack to kill monsters, the count keeps going even after you've set your record.

Bug Fixes

• Captain Darkgoo's name will no longer appear untranslated in the Soul Collector UI.
  
• The Kanna, Hayato, and Beast Tamer arcane weapons will have the Arcane Umbra prefix instead of the Arcaneshade prefix.
  
• Bonus Potential stats that wrap to the next line will no longer overlap with the next Bonus Potential stat.
  
• The Arcane Umbra Claw will be renamed to Arcane Umbra Knuckle to match the weapon type.
  
• The NPC Rice Cake Mommy Moon Bunny will be removed from Edelstein.
  
• The world map for Showa will no longer appear untranslated.

• The more people that play in a match, the higher the amount of rewards!

• In a 100 player game, 1st place will receive30 New Year Coins,2nd to 5th place will receive 20 New Year Coins,6th to 10th will receive 10 New Year Coins, etc. New Year Coins can be used at the New Year's Coin Shop to exchange for prizes!

• Minimum 10 players needed to start the event.
  
• It’s OX Quiz time! Accept the event invitation above your head to move to the event map.
  
• You will be given 20 statements and need to determine whether they are true or false.
  
  
• Stand under the giant 'X' (false) or the giant 'O' (true) to signify if a statement is true or false.
  
• If you answer incorrectly, you will be placed in the elimination area.

• Everyone will receiveNew Year Coinsbased on the amount of correct answers you got. New Year's Coins can be used at the New Year's Coin Shop to exchange for prizes!

Requirement: Lv. 30 and above (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).

• During the event period, log in and click the gift box icon on the left side of the screen to receive a Gift Box, and then double-click the box in your inventory to open it.
  
• The Gift Box can be obtained once every day until midnight, and can be opened until1:00 AM PST (4:00 AM EST / 10:00 AM CET / 8:00 AM AEDT)of the following day.
  
• If you obtain a Gift Box every day from Monday to Saturday, then on Sunday—in addition to Sunday's reward—you can select another gift! You can select one from all of the items that were given out from Monday to Friday. You are not required to have received each day’s Gift Box on the same character in order to be eligible for the extra gift, but it does have to be with characters in the same world (multiple worlds in World Alliances don't count).

Cash Inventory Transfer Event

January 18 - January 26
This event will start after the maintenance on January 18.
This event will end after the maintenance on January 26.

• For a limited time, you will be able to transfer most cash items between your characters within the same world.
  
• Take this opportunity to share a Hyper Teleport Rock, move cash cover items between characters, move a beloved pet to a new character, and more!
  
• All you have to do is enter the Cash Shop, right-click an eligible item from within your Cash inventory, click 'Transfer', and select the recipient of the item from the drop down. The selected item will now appear in the other character’s Cash inventory the next time you login to that character.
  
• You can only transfer cash items between characters in the same world. This does not include different worlds in the same world alliance. For example, you can transfer items between two characters on Mardia, but you cannot transfer an item from a character on Mardia to a character on Kradia.
  
• All jobs are able to transfer cash items between each other, but Explorers will not have the option to transfer to another Explorer because they already share their Cash inventory.
  
• Certain items (such as EXP coupons, Potion Pots, Shop Permits/Hired Merchants, and Friendship/Couple items) cannot be transferred.
  
  

Spiegelmann Express: The Chu Chu Truck

January 18 - February 7
Requirement: Lv. 33 or above (Zero characters must have completed up to Chapter 2).

• Available daily entries: 10 per world.
  
• The daily quests reset at4:00 PM (Pacific)each day.
  
• NPC Spiegelmann has cooked up another questionable get-rich-quick scheme! As per usual, you will have to do all the heavy lifting.
  
• Speak to NPC Spiegelmann using the event notifier to travel via train to Lonely Island.
  
• Once on the island, speak to Spiegelmann once more to begin the event. You will be teleported to the cooking area where you will receive various cooking orders to complete within a limited time frame.
  
• While in Lonely Island, skills cannot be used. Players can dash, jump, and long jump to navigate the island.
  
• The cooking orders each have a list of ingredients necessary in order to create them. These ingredients can be bought from the residents on Lonely Island using Chu Chu Coins, which Spiegelmann has graciously provided you with. The start-up amount given is 50 Chu Chu Coins.
  
• Not all residents will be easy to reach, and there are other inhabitants on Lonely Island from whom you can purchase Food Truck and Movement upgrades.
  
• Some upgrades that can be obtained are:

• Using the item will permanently change your character's hairstyle, look, face, and hair color randomly.
  
• Each coupon can be used once, and they expire 24 hours after being received.

• VALENTINE'S DAY IS AN EVIL PLOT BY NUE! Big Bad Choco wants to rule the world with evil chocolate! It's your civic duty as a hero to eat ALL THE CHOCOLATE IN THE WORLD!
  
• The elite monsters of Maple World have become choco crazed! Defeat them to obtain Golden Tickets to Choco World.
  
• Upon using the Golden Tickets, you will be transported to one of 3 maps:
  
  
  
• Choco Crush: Eliminate as many choco monsters as you can within the time limit to obtain choco power.
  
• Falling Choco: Collect falling chocolate while avoiding other falling obstacles to obtain choco power.

• You can give this candy to NPCs or keep it for yourself.

• Use the Monster Love Detector to summon a Monster Couple, which you must fight.
  
• When you defeat them, you can earn a number of items to help you in your fight against couples.

The Sweetest Day

February 8 - March 1

Requirement: Lv. 33 and above

• Hunt monsters within your level range (10 levels below and 20 levels above) and collect some Sweet Chocolate.
  
• For every 100 Sweet Chocolates you collect, you can trade them in to NPC Cassandra to receive a Valentine's Day Box and ten Mana Elixirs.

• Once you complete this, you will earn aSweet V Chocolatebuff. The buff has different stats for characters of different level ranges.
